About
What Jawla is
Jawla is a marketplace that connects you with licensed partners offering Dubai experiences and services. Jawla helps you discover and request bookings; the partner provides the actual experience. Today Jawla runs as a demo with sample data.
Bookings
Requests, not instant confirmations
When you book, you send a request to the partner. Your preferred slot is held briefly so it isn’t double-booked while the partner reviews it. A booking is only confirmed once the partner accepts. If it isn’t confirmed in time the hold can expire, and you’re free to request again. Booking is not instant.
Payments
Pricing and payment timing
No payment is taken in the current flow. Prices shown are estimates that the partner confirms; the exact total can depend on party size, add-ons and partner terms. Real payment is planned for a later release and these terms will be updated when it is introduced.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate request details (date, party size, any important notes).
- Follow the partner’s reasonable rules and any age, safety or venue requirements.
- Use Jawla lawfully and respectfully — see “Acceptable use” below.
- In this demo, don’t submit real personal or payment information.
Partners
Partner responsibilities
Partners are reviewed by the Jawla operations team before listing and are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, their availability, and delivering the experience they offer. Licensed providers carry a verified marker. Jawla facilitates the connection but does not itself provide the experiences.
Changes
Cancellations and changes
Each listing shows its own cancellation terms. You can cancel a request from My Bookings before it’s completed; because no payment is taken in this flow, cancelling simply releases the held slot. Partners may propose a reschedule or, if they can’t accommodate a request, decline it. Refunds are not part of the current flow and will be addressed when payments launch.
Acceptable use
What’s not allowed
- Misusing the platform, attempting to disrupt it, or accessing it without authorization.
- Submitting false, misleading or unlawful requests or listings.
- Infringing others’ rights or harassing partners, customers or staff.
Support
Support and limitations
Help is available through the Help Center and the concierge during listed hours. This is a demo: support contact details are placeholders, no live ticket is created, and Jawla is provided “as is” without warranties while in this stage.
Updates
Changes to these terms
We may update this draft as the product matures; the “last updated” date will change when we do. A finalised, legally-reviewed version will be published before production launch.
